Her research focuses on socio-emotional development, well-being, and learning in educational contexts—topics on which she has published articles in high-impact scientific journals and coordinated collective works aimed at improving educational and social engagement. She has been a member of the Research Group on Socio-Emotional Development, Well-being, and Education at the University of Cantabria, and is currently part of the Education and Psychological Processes Group (EducaViva) at the University of Zaragoza.

She holds a recognized six-year research period (“sexenio”) awarded by CNEAI and ACPUA, and has led and participated in numerous national and international projects. She is the Principal Investigator of the European project The Cyber Escape Project: Navigating Digital Challenges through Ethical and Sustainable Practices in School Education (€250,000) and Co-Principal Investigator of GRIT – Growth Mind-set through Resilient Intelligent Technologies (€400,000). Her academic and scientific work is complemented by a solid track record in university management and institutional leadership. Since 2025, she has served as Secretary Professor of the Department of Educational Sciences and as a member of both the Faculty Council and the Standing Committee of the Faculty of Education at the University of Zaragoza. She has also participated in the organization of scientific events, serving as secretary of the scientific committee for the 6th International Congress on Emotional Intelligence and Well-being, among other committee roles.

For the past four years, she has coordinated the consolidated Teaching Innovation Project Interdisciplinary Cooperation in Teacher Training: Strategies for Educational Inclusion through the Early Attention Course. She also leads the multidisciplinary innovation group Edu_Lab. In addition, she coordinates master’s, undergraduate, and practicum courses and serves as an academic advisor within the University Orientation Plan at the University of Zaragoza. Her career combines research, teaching, and knowledge transfer, with a clear focus on improving well-being and educational quality.
