My academic and professional career focuses on the field of social and cultural anthropology and social work. After a diploma in Social Work (2000-2004) and a degree in Social Anthropology (2004-2006), the latter with an Extraordinary End of Degree Award, I did a master's degree in Urban Anthropology (2006-2008) in which I was also awarded with the same distinction. During the master's degree, in 2007 I won a competitive pre-doctoral scholarship for University Staff Training (FPU) with which I was able to finish my doctoral thesis (2011), which was awarded with Excellent Cum Laude. During 2009 I was able to spend twelve months at the University of Morelos (Mexico). In the same way, during the period of enjoyment of the scholarship, I was able to do shared teaching in subjects in the area of Anthropology and Social Work E. From the end of the doctorate I dedicated myself to the extracurricular professional field as a social educator (2012-2014). In January 2015 I resumed my activity in the academic field as teaching and research staff at the University of Zaragoza, an institution where I currently continue as a doctoral assistant. In relation to research activity, I have been part of two research groups recognised by the Government of Aragon, I have participated in several research projects, I have published specialised articles in journals of impact, book chapters in prestigious publishers, I have presented papers at conferences recognised in my area, I have participated for four years in teaching innovation projects and I have published a book on methodology in social research. I am currently part of the research team in an R&D project funded by the State Research Agency. In the 22-23 academic year I have carried out for the first time a teaching innovation project as principal investigator. I would also like to highlight the publication in 2022 and 2023 of two articles in impact journals, indexed in the JCR and SJR databases, and the publication in 2022 of a book chapter in a publishing house indexed in the number 2 position in the SPI ranking. As for teaching tasks, I have more than 1000 hours as a teacher in theoretical-practical mode in core subjects of 1st, 3rd and 4th year, and I have obtained during all the school years at the University of Zaragoza an outstanding positive evaluation (maximum score) by the students. As for teaching in third cycle, I participate in the Master in Social Gerontology and in the Master in Gender Relations, both at the University of Zaragoza. Finally, I would like to highlight my work as Coordinator of the Anthropology Area since September 2022 and the consequent representation that I exercise in the Permanent Commission of the Department.
