Patricia Palomino-Manjón is currently working as an Assistant Professor in English Language at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa de Zaragoza (Defense University Center of Zaragoza). She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics. Her research interests include critical discourse studies, gender studies and online discourse. She is particularly interested in (anti)feminist discourses and (linguistic) aggression in social media.

Her Ph.D. research focused on the discursive construction of victim-perpetrator identities and the (re)production and (counter) resistance of patriarchal discourses of gender-based violence on Twitter. She has been invited to deliver lectures and conduct workshops on discourse analysis and academic (soft) skills development at prestigious international academic institutions. She is also a member of the research group LediCUDe (Lengua, Discurso, Cultura y Defensa).
