University Expert in Adult Education UNED 2004. Diploma in Labor Relations, UZ 2011. Main line of research: history of historiography. Book resulting from doctoral thesis: Americanist historiography in Spain, 1755-1936, Madrid, Iberoamericana, 2007, pioneering study in contemporary Spanish Americanism, analyzing the policies and speeches of the Royal Academy of History, chronicling corporation of the Indies, examining the Americanist Spanish institutional fabric and comparing it with other national Americanisms until reaching the demonstration of the university professional development of Spanish Americanism since the first decades of the 20th century and its evolution as a scientific discipline. This line has been expanded, through participation in national and regional R&D&i projects, to domains of cultural history and international relations Spain-Ibero-America on the one hand, and, on the other, to the audiovisual and narrative-testimonial treatment of Latin American transitions. The first is referenced in three successive R&D&I projects on diplomats, consuls and cultural agents between Spain and Latin America: 1) "The presence of Luis Jiménez de Asúa in Hispano-Americanism: internationalization and exile" (Americanist Themes (48 ) 2022, pp. 167-189); 2) “Celebrating memory: the flight of the Plus Ultra” (in De Palos al Plata. The flight of the Plus Ultra 90 years after its departure. Seville, UNIA, 2016, pp. 45-70; 3) "The Ibero-American Exhibition of Seville of 1929 and the involvement of the United States” (in Diplomacy and American cultural action in the Spain of Primo de Rivera. Madrid: Marcial Pons, 2020, pp. 95-113); The Diplomatic and Consular Institute” (in Where politics is not enough. The challenge of diplomats, consuls and cultural agents in the renewal of relations between Spain and America, 1880-1939. Madrid: Iberoamericana Vervuert, 2018, pp. 159-194 ); 5) "Alfonso Reyes as a 'bridge' of Americanism" (in Spain as a setting. Politics and cultural action of Latin American diplomats, 1880-1936. Santa Marta, Colombia, Universidad del Magdalena, 2018, pp. 367-404). The other research interest on history and historical memory through discourse and image, "The audiovisual recovery of the Civil War in the Spanish Transition", pp. 227-250 of Memory has exploded: the traces of the Civil War in the Transition to Democracy (Madrid: Biblioteca Nueva, 2014).
