My professional career as product engineer began in 2005, participating in R&D projects in the private sector, conducting and managing product development projects from different areas. In 2008, I began my academic career as adjunct professor in in the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Zaragoza (EINA-UZ). In 2010, I obtained a teaching position at the University Center of the Defence at the University of Zaragoza. Since September 2018 I hold a position at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza, in the Department of Design and Manufacturing in Engineering at EINA-UZ, from 2022 as Associate Professor.

International doctor in Environmental Science and Technology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) (2014-2016). My PhD thesis focused on the introduction of industrial ecology tools to promote extensively the use of eco-materials, more specifically the use of cork in the building sector. Within my PhD programme, I developed a research internship in the CESAM-Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) to learn about the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to natural materials. Once I finished my PhD, I did as post-doctoral researcher stays in the Faculty of Engineering at University of Porto (FEUP) (Portugal) (2018 and 2022).

My research career is developed as a member of the Aragon Institute for Engineering Research (i3a) of the University of Zaragoza. My research interests include: i) eco-design and life cycle analysis (LCA), applied to urban and industrial systems, products, processes and services; and ii) the design of co-creation methodologies throughout the introduction of creativity techniques applied to sustainability. Since 2015, I have published more than 20 articles indexed in the JCR, the most of them high-impact journal papers (Q1), obtaining more than 700 citations. I have presented results in more than 30 international conferences, and I have recognized two six-years period of research activity. I have been a member of the research team of 8 national and regional projects calls, in one of them as main researcher.

My teaching career has been developed in several Degrees of Engineering and Design, teaching 14 different subjects related to Engineering Drawing and Industrial Design, presenting results in 9 teaching conferences since 2011, and publishing 2 books of teaching material. I have participated in a research project of the programme for the promotion of scientific vocations from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology.I have co-supervised one PhD thesis at UAB in the field of the ideation of new applications for the revaluation of agricultural waste. And I am currently directing several doctoral theses on the introduction of methodologies for the design of service products with sustainability criteria. I also co-supervised several BEng and MSc students at EINA-UZ, ICTA-UAB and FEUP.
