Javier Monclús Fraga (Zaragoza, 1951). Architect and PhD from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (ETSAB, UPC). Professor of Urban Planning and Professor Emeritus at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza. Previously he was professor of urban planning at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona (1980-2005); Editor-in-Chief of the Accompanying Plan at the Zaragoza Expo 2008 Consortium (2005-2009) and consultant in urban planning and projects. Member of the editorial board of the journal Planning Perspectives. Editor-in-Chief of the journal ZARCH. Journal of interdisciplinary studies. http://zarch.unizar.es/. He has participated in stays and courses and seminars at other universities as a visiting professor or guest lecturer including the following: Columbia University (NYC); University of Westminster (London).
