Academic Position: Full Professor of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine of Zaragoza.

Hospital Position: Head of Section of the Microbiology Service at the Lozano Blesa University Clinical Hospital.

Supervision of Doctoral Theses:
Supervised 7 doctoral theses, all related to bacterial resistances, with outstanding cum laude qualifications. One received a European mention, and another received an extraordinary doctoral award.

Researcher and Principal Investigator (PI): PI of the Government of Aragon's Reference Research Group: "Ecology of Bacterial Resistance" (code B13_17R), with Cristina Seral as the IP.

Research Projects Involvement: Participates in and leads research projects on epidemiological surveillance, genetic bases, and biochemical mechanisms of bacterial resistance to antimicrobials.

Involved in the development and evaluation of diagnostic methods for Clinical Microbiology.
Positive Evaluations: Four positive evaluations by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (ANECA) in the periods 1997-2003, 2004-2009, 2010-2015, 2016-2021.
