Cecilia Latorre-Cosculluela is a Senior Lecturer in the area of Didactics and School Organisation at the University of Zaragoza. She obtained her PhD in Education from the University of Zaragoza in July 2020. She has published numerous scientific articles indexed in high-quality databases (JCR and SCOPUS), focusing on the effectiveness of transformational educational leadership, indicators of quality education, and the effectiveness of innovative and inclusive teaching practices. She has exercised leadership roles, appearing as first and/or corresponding author in half of the 70 publications she has produced.

In terms of quality indicators of her scientific output, the researcher has accumulated 353 citations across 44 scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science (H-index = 10). Her publications in SCOPUS account for 519 citations (H-index = 12), while those indexed in Google Scholar total 1,650 citations (H-index = 19). The researcher was awarded a CNEAI research assessment (sexenio) for the period 2017–2022.

In addition to her scientific publications, she has actively participated in several national and European R&D projects focused on school management and development in rural settings and on educational innovation dynamics. She has been a member for more than eight years of the “Education and Diversity” Research Group (S49_23R), recognised by the Government of Aragon. Furthermore, she has undertaken two postdoctoral international research stays at various Ibero-American universities.

The Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Social Outreach of the University of Zaragoza, in collaboration with the Government of Aragon, awarded her the 2023 Responsible Consumption Prize for a project related to the implementation of an educational programme on values, responsible consumption, and emotional advertising. She also led another project funded by the Ibercaja Foundation and the University of Zaragoza, aimed at analysing the impact of science and technology educational activities on achieving sustainable development in schools. In short, her scientific production transcends the boundaries of academic literature, extending towards the search for and implementation of practical solutions that positively influence educational quality and sustainable development in educational centres.

Moreover, her teaching activity amounts to more than 2,800 hours delivered across various undergraduate, postgraduate, and complementary university programmes. This teaching experience has been complemented by the performance of several individual management and administrative roles within the university, including:
