Doctorate in Engineering Projects from the University of Zaragoza
Professor at the University of Zaragoza with a focus on Innovation Management, R&D Project Management, and Technology Foresight, specifically in the areas of knowledge absorption capacity, technology integration, and foresight for the defence sector.
I began my career implementing economic management systems for small businesses (ERP). For a time, I combined consultancy work with part-time teaching as an associate professor in the Business Administration Department at the University of Zaragoza.
In 2006, I decided to fully commit to the University of Zaragoza and worked at the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI), where I managed research projects and promoted public-private collaboration.
From 2011 to 2023, I was a professor at the University Center for Defense - General Military Academy. This institution, under the Ministry of Defence and affiliated with the University of Zaragoza, provides university education to future Spanish Army officers. During three of those years, I coordinated the Office for the Promotion of Research and Development (OPID), as university professors are responsible for teaching, conducting research, and transferring knowledge to society and businesses.
In 2021, I completed a Yoga Teacher Training program after four years at Conchita Morera’s school, certified by the Spanish Association of Yoga Practitioners (AEPY). Technological expertise and professional skills are essential, but so are the fundamental aspects of being human, which have always been a focus of wise individuals across cultures.
Since September 2023, I have returned to my alma mater, the University of Zaragoza, where I am now dedicated to teaching and research.
