Raúl Pérez López is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Zaragoza, accredited as a Full Professor (17/01/2023). He holds a regional six-year research accreditation recognized by ACPUA and a national one recognized by ANECA. His ORCID code is 0000-0001-6441-2504.

He has an H-index of 9 (Web of Science) and an i10 index of 11 (Google Scholar). He has 21 scientific publications, with 9 in journals indexed in the first quartile of JCR and another 8 in the second quartile. Furthermore, 4 of these articles are in the top decile of the JCR. Some of his most relevant publications include articles in the Journal of Interactive Marketing (D1 in Business), Journal of Business Research (Q1 in Business), Journal of Services Marketing (Q2 in Business), Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services (Q1 in Business), Computer and Education (D1 Information Science), and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (Q1 Business).

He has received several scholarships throughout his academic career. He obtained a predoctoral scholarship from the Government of Aragon for his doctoral thesis, which he later relinquished after receiving the University Professor Training (FPU) Scholarship from the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Later, he received a scholarship within this program for a research stay abroad, carried out at ESCP Europe Berlin (Germany) in 2015 and more recently the José Castillejo Scholarship.

His research has been recognized with various awards, including the Extraordinary Doctoral Award from the University of Zaragoza in the academic year 2016-2017 in the branch of Social and Legal Sciences; Best Communication-New Researcher Award at the National ACEDE Congress (2015); Runner-up for the Best Doctoral Thesis in Commerce from the Spanish Association of Parks and Shopping Centers, awarded in 2018; and Finalist for the Best Doctoral Thesis Award at the "International Marketing Trends (2018)" Congress in Paris. He also received the Best Paper Award at the AEMARK Marketing Congress (2023) and the Business Relevance Award in Marketing at AEMARK (2023).

Professor Pérez has participated in 11 research projects funded by public and private institutions. His involvement in national research projects within the National R&D&I Plan and the Generés Research Group is noteworthy. He has led a research project funded by the University of Zaragoza and Ibercaja (01/01/2021-31/12/2021). He has also participated in and directed projects with companies such as BSH España SA and Puerto Venecia.

He has given eight seminars as a guest speaker at the University of Zaragoza (5), the Public University of Navarra, the University of Navarra, and Tampere University.

He regularly attends national and international conferences such as EMAC, SERVSIG, and AEMARK, and has served as a moderator, evaluator, and reviewer. He has also been a reviewer for international journals.

Professor Pérez has been involved in teaching for more than 9 academic years, accumulating a total of more than 1,500 teaching hours. Some of these classes were taught in the official postgraduate program at the University of Zaragoza. It's worth noting that more than 300 hours of this teaching were conducted in English.
