Silvia Vicente-Oliva is a Spanish academic and researcher affiliated with the University of Zaragoza, specializing in business organization, innovation management, and knowledge transfer. Her career combines a strong background in Business Administration and Management with a PhD from the University of Zaragoza in the field of Engineering Projects, enabling her to build a professional path at the intersection of academia, industry, and defense. Her teaching experience includes courses related to innovation management and the fundamentals of business administration and management, as well as supervising internships in companies and military units, along with undergraduate and master’s theses, where she brings an applied perspective closely aligned with professional practice.

From a research standpoint, her profile is marked by work on absorptive capacity, R&D projects, and academia-industry collaboration. She has also contributed to technology foresight and the analysis of disruptive technologies, with particular attention to additive manufacturing and the development of technological capabilities. Her previous professional experience in consulting, as well as her work at the University of Zaragoza’s Office for Research Results Transfer (TTO), reinforces a highly practical approach to innovation and knowledge management.

In addition, she has carried out part of her teaching and research at the University Centre of Defence, where she has contributed to the training of future officers in innovation management and technology policy, receiving military distinctions.
