Luisa Esteban-Salvador is an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting and Finance, University of Zaragoza (Spain). Her research interests include corporate gender diversity in sport, female entrepreneurship, and social economy. She coordinates the “Corporate governance in sport organizations: a gendered approach” project supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, in which five universities participate (University of Minho, Portugal; University of Teramo; Italy; University of Leicester, United Kingdom; University of Sakarya, Turkey; and the University of Zaragoza; Spain). She is the chair of the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Equality and Diversity in Sports (ICMPEDS) that will take place in July 2021 and will be taught in five languages. She has attended international conferences and has publications in recognized and reputed journals and books in these fields. She is a member of the academic committee for two programs PhD, a doctorate in accounting and finance, and a doctorate in gender and feminist studies at the University of Zaragoza. She also directs theses in both programs. She has also held administrative positions at her University, including serving as vice dean of international relations and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (University of Zaragoza, Spain). |
