Juan Pablo Artero (Zaragoza, 1979) has got a PhD in Communication and is an Associate Professor of Journalism at University of Zaragoza. He taught at University of Navarra and was a visiting scholar at universities of Oxford, Texas Tech, Montevideo, Fordham and IME-IESE Business School. He has attended conferences and academic meetings at 30 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia and holds more than 70 scientific publications in English and Spanish. Among them are included books like "El mercado de la televisión en España: oligopolio", "Modelos estratégicos de Telecinco (1990-2005)" or "Corporate Governance and Risk Identification in Global Media Companies". He has been published at globally recognized journals like Journalism, European Journal of Communication or Journal of Media Business Studies. Between 2007 and 2013 was a director of the UTECA annual report on television in Spain. Since 2018 acts as the Vice-President of the board of directors of the Aragonese Corporation for Radio and Television (CARTV).
