Tenure Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Zaragoza from 01/2000.

Research experience modelling and optimizing coal power plants, biomass pretreatment for energy use (milling systems), concentrating solar power plants and biomass thermochemical conversion (including combustion for energy use and biochar production). These research activities have been developed in experimental rigs or through numerical simulation, competitive projects, or companies.
