Fernando Pérez-Cabello has a Ph.D. in Geography and currently works at the Department of Geography and Territorial Planning, the University of Zaragoza as a Senior Lecturer in Geography (Degree in Geography, Master in GIS and Remote Sensing, and a Master in Territorial and Environmental Planning) (https://janovas.unizar.es/sideral/CV/fernando-perez-cabello). He has 3 positive six-year evaluations. He is a member of GEOFOREST (Geo-environmental Processes in Forest Areas) (S51_17R) (http://geoforest.unizar.es/es/index.php), belonging to the University Institute of Research into Environmental Sciences of Aragon, IUCA; and is a member of the Asociación Española de Teledetección (AET). His research is focused on Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Vegetation, Forest Ecology, Land-Use Management, and especially post-fire vegetation recovery monitoring and the retrieval of bio-geophysical parameters from forests. His Skills are concerned with Geography, Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Vegetation, Forest Ecology, and Land-Use Management. Advisor of 6 Ph.D. dissertations and 34 degree/master projects. Member investigator of 20 research projects and 10 research contracts. He has attended 45 national and international conferences. Author of 116 scientific papers and book chapters, 43 of which are indexed in Scopus, within different subject areas: Earth and Planetary Sciences; Agricultural and Biological Sciences; Environmental Science; Social Sciences; or Engineering. About his teaching experience, he has provided university-lever education for 20 years in subjects related to Remote Sensing, GIS, and Geography in different degrees and master: Degree in Geography and Land Management; a Master in Land and Environmental Planning, and a Master in Geographic Information Science and Technology for Land Management: Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing.
